Hollywood rolled out the red carpet yet again with the premiere of Tammy, starring Melissa McCarthy, Susan Sarandon and Dan Aykroyd. In addition to the film premiere, one of the highlights of the evening was the afterparty, held at Mel's Drive-In, which was completely transformed into the film's fictional restaurant Topper Jack's for the evening! Written by husband and wife team, Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, Tammy is the story of two ladies from the Midwest on a an adventure of a lifetime! At the closing night of the Los Angeles Film Festival, director Clint Eastwood wore the iconic 'Four Seasons' maroon blazer and received a standing ovation while introducing the premiere of the Jersey Boys. After the screening of the premiere, guests gathered for the closing-night party, featuring vintage classic cars, and posed for photographs alongside the unforgettable "Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons" sign from the film. Jersey Boys is a Tony Award-winning musical adapted for the big screen and features John Lloyd Young starring as the legendary lead singer, Frankie Valli. Jersey Boys tells the story of four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who create the iconic musical group The Four Seasons. Early on in the film, Christpher Walken delivers one of the most memorable lines..."Don't worry, you work hard, and everything follows"...and that theme seems to transcend throughout this incredible movie-musical story. Inspired by Steve Harvey's best-selling book 'Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man', this comedy sequel brings the couples back together for an unforgettable trip to Las Vegas. Plans for a romantic weekend soon get derailed as their misadventures bring some compromising situations and could threaten the big event. Just in time for its Memorial weekend release, Hollywood rolled out the red carpet for the premiere of Blended, starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. No strangers to romantic comedy, this marks the third for the Sandler and Barrymore duo. After a horrible blind date, single parents Lauren and Jim agree that they never want to see each other again. That is, until they find themselves stuck at a family resort sharing a suite while vacationing with their kids. Check out Blended in theaters this weekend to see how Lauren and Jim handle the most awkward vacation ever! Blended is directed by Frank Coraci, who previously collaborated with Sandler and Barrymore on The Wedding Singer, and is distributed by Warner Bros.

Irwindale Speedway hosted yet another sucessful Mooneyes Car Show and Drag event...and for the first time ever, it was held on mother's day weekend. The Mooneyes Car Show and Drag is a fun filled event for the whole family. Where else can you bring your own hot rod, race it down an eighth mile track, listen to live rockabilly bands and have your hot rod pinstriped...all in one place! There's always a wide variety of hot rods throwing down some rubber. Hollywood rolled out the black carpet for the premiere of Godzilla, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen. Thousands of fans lined Hollywood Blvd to catch a glimpse of the festivities. Fan favorite, Bryan Cranston was all smiles as he made his way down the carpet in his navy blue suit. Elizabeth Olsen looked amazing in her simple, yet elegant black floor-length dress. In this film, Godzilla is reborn and rises up to challenge the human race. Follow the Brody family in this epic story of human courage as they face this powerful force of nature. Directed by Gareth Edwards, Godzilla is distributed by Warner Bros. and will be presented in 3D, 2D and IMAX later this month.

Historic Regency Theatre in Westwood hosted another star-studded event, rolling out the red carpet for the premiere of Neighbors, starring Seth Rogan, Zac Efron and Dave Franco. One by one, the celebrities made their way down the carpet, with Seth, Zac and Dave all looking dapper in their grey suits! Neighbors is the hilarious story of a couple with a newborn facing unexpected challenges when they are forced to live next to a fraternity house. Kelly, played by Rose Byrne and Mac, played by Seth Rogan soon learn that the only way to get rid of the fraternity is to trick them into breaking their probation. In true fraternity style...let the pranks begin! Check out Neighbors on May 9th to see who prevails!

Fans lined the streets of Westwood for the premiere of The Other Woman, starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton. Contrary to the widespread rumors, Lady Gaga was not in attendance for this premiere, much to the dismay of some of the "little monsters" in the crowd. The Other Woman follows three ladies who are surprised to discover they have one thing in common...the same cheating man! In celebration of the premiere, celebrities from the film made their way down the red carpet in style. Cameron Diaz looked stunning in her black gown and heels, Kate Upton dazzled in her gray dress with silver reflective accents and Leslie Mann seemed to glide down the carpet as she radiated in her bright pink ensemble. Opening in theaters on April 25th, check out The Other Woman to see this unique trio of ladies come together on a shared mission of revenge! Warner Bros rolled out the black carpet in honor of its latest film, Transcendence, starring Johnny Depp, Rebecca Hall and Morgan Freeman. Johnny Depp attended the premiere without fiancee, Amber Heard who is currently in New York working on her new film. Johnny brought his own flare to the carpet, wearing a bright blue suit jacket and white wing tip shoes! Transcendence centers on Dr. Will Caster (played by Johnny Depp), a terminally ill and renowned scientist in the area of Artificial Intelligence, known for his controversial experiments. Will's thirst for knowledge soon becomes a desire for power and the only question is...will anyone be able to stop him? In his directorial debut, Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister brings us some incredibly unique visual effects, including incorporating hologram technology during filming. Football fans lined the streets of Westwood awaiting the premiere of Draft Day, starring Kevin Costner, Jennifer Garner, Chadwick Boseman and Terry Crews. In honor of the event, the traditional red carpet was tossed out and replaced with a more fitting green with white hashmarks! Walking together on the carpet, Kevin Costner and wife Christine Baumgartner seemed to truly enjoy the evening with lots of laughs and smiles. In memorable fashion, Terry Crews took some time to show off his leaping catches and Jennifer Garner brought style looking fantastic in her sleek black jumpsuit. Summit Entertainment brings us Draft Day, a story following general manager Sonny Weaver on his journey to rebuild his football team. Opening in theaters on April 11, Draft Day was directed by Ivan Reitman.

Venice beach hosted a unique mix of athletes for the 2014 World's Strongest Man competition. Reigning champion, Brian Shaw showed enormous determination as he tackled the overhead medley competition. The event featured competitors from around the world, including Iceland's "Thor", Hafthor Bjornsson and Lithuania's Zydrunas Savickas. For over 30 years, the World's Strongest Man competition has been testing the strength, determination and sheer will of competitors from all over the world. With events such as the "Dead Lift", "Keg Toss", "Car Carry" and "Giant Dumbbell Press", the key to the competition is often the precision of the competitor's grip and their ability to focus on each task. El Capitan theatre rolled out the carpet yet again for the long awaited premiere of Marvels' Captain America: The Winter Soldier, starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson. The premiere featured Scarlett looking absolutely stunning in her lacy, plunging neckline gown complete with its striking black bow! Samuel L. Jackson looked dapper as usual in his navy cap and topcoat. In this latest Capain America installment, Steve Rogers faces his toughest challenge yet battling a new villian, the soviet agent Winter Soldier. The Captain America story originated with the 1941 Marvel comic book series and has been entertaining generations ever since. Directed by Emmy Award-winning directors Anthony and Joe Russo, Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens in theaters April 4th.

Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell have accomplished the unthinkable...they sucessfully launched the largest Kickstarter campaign in film history! In an amazing collaboration, over 90,000 fans of the cancelled TV detective series, Veronica Mars, donated a record breaking $5.7M to fund production of the film. What once was a crazy idea to bring Veronica to the big screen has now become a reality. In Veronica Mars, Kristen Bell plays the witty and intelligent sluth Veronica who's all grown up and returning to her hometown. Veronica quickly finds herself in the thick of a murder mystery with her old flame, Logan trapped in the middle. Directed by Rob Thomas, this film opens in select locations on March 14. Furry canines took over the red carpet in celebration of the Mr. Peabody & Sherman premiere in Los Angeles. Dreamworks Animation and 20th Century Fox bring us the story of Mr. Peabody, voiced by Ty Burrell and Sherman, voiced by the young Max Charles. The red carpet also featured a surprise visit by the life sized characters themselves. Mr. Peabody & Sherman definitely looked like they enjoyed the evening as they posed for photos with their celebrity pals! In Mr. Peabody & Sherman, the friends find themselves on an unforgettable adventure, as Sherman takes his friend Penny, played by Ariel Winter on a joy ride in their time machine. Will Mr. Peabody be able to rescue them? Check out the film in theaters on Friday to find out! Directed by Rob Minkoff, this animated feature is sure to be a family favorite.

Hollywood lost an iconic figure today with the passing of Shirley Temple. Shirley's hand and footprints will forever be memorialized at the forecourt of TCL Chinese Theatres, where she autographed and noted "Love to You All". Born in Santa Monica, Shirley Temple began her acting career at the young age of 3. Shirley Temple took the motion picture world by storm as one of the most recognizable child actors in the 1930s and is commonly known for her roles in A Little Princess, Heidi and Curly Top. This iconic actress received many awards over the years including the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award and Kennedy Center Honors. Some may not realize that after retiring from her acting career in the 1960s, Shirley Temple dedicated the next 25 years of her life to public service and diplomacy including serving as the US Ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia. Shirley Temple died at the age of 85 of natural causes in her home in Woodside, CA. For insight into Shirley Temple's life, check out her autobiography titled Child Star.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association honored excellence in film and television with the 71st annual Golden Globes at the Beverly Hilton. The star-studded day began with an unfortunate turn of events...the red carpet flooded just an hour before celebrity arrivals! While news reports initially claimed that a water main broke, it was actually a lighting rig that triggered the sprinkler system. With only minutes to spare, crews feverishly worked to dry a path for attendees and honorees. The Golden Globes were hosted by the comedic pair of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, both looking spectacular in their elegant gowns. In addition to hosting, Amy Poehler was nicely surprised with her own statuette being honored as Best Actress in a TV Series.
